HE Space is a successful international space company. For over 35 years, we have been supporting our customers with qualified experts in the field of engineering, science and administration. We are currently looking for a PA Engineer to support our customer, a medium size company in Germany, with their space projects Solar Arrays, SA deployment mechanism, mechanical optical structures, Structures MLI, etc. Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Product Assurance Team and working in close collaboration with the Engineering Team, you will have the following responsibilities Planning, execution and surveillance of project related Product Assurance tasks, in particular Creation of project specific Product Assurance Plans Definition and verification of Product Assurance requirements for subcontracts and internal activities Providing support to creation and release of technical documentation RAMSAnalyses, Parts, Material and ProcessQualification Carrying out production control, inspections, test support and delivery reviews Representation of the companys Product Assurance approach versus customers and subcontractors Analysis of quality problems, development and implementation of solutions with corresponding documentation Measurement and evaluation of process weaknesses, definition and implementation of improvements Preparation and execution of Quality Audits internally and at subcontractors Coordination of End Item Data Packages and Delivery Acceptance Process. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Degree in Engineering with several years of working experience in a ProductQuality Assurance environment Good understanding of Space Product and Quality Assurance principles and methods, including knowledge of standards used in Space industry ECSS, ESCC, MIL Have background knowledge and be interested in contributing to the technical implementation mechanical systems, mechanism, structures Experience in reliability and dependability analysis would be an asset Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German is a distinctive advantage.
