This is a really exciting opportunity to join our Thales Alenia Space TAS business unit as a Product Assurance Manager. Youll be responsible for the TASUK Quality team, acting as the interface to the other TAS quality organisations. You will also lead the product activity for TASUK proposals and projects. This role will involve reviewing product and quality assurance requirements and creating or amending product assurance procedures in line with the bid requirements. Key responsibilities and accountabilities Management of Product Assurance PA Product assurance team management Interface with TASUK management Responsibility for the quality activities associated with TASUK sites e.g, Bristol, Harwell and Belfast Interface with the Customers including MoD for Product Assurance aspects Internal and external audit performance, including subcontracts suppliers Interface with other TAS Quality organisations PA System Customers satisfaction improvement Improvement Plan definition and follow up Alerts following nonconformance management Claims management Company Quality dashboard Lessons learnt implementation Coordination of PA activities Participation to proposals Project Product assurance Establish the PA Plan of each project and assure implementation Product certification Inspect and acceptreject the products to enable certification to the Customer requirements Procurement Quality Assurance Assure the Quality Requirements are imposed to subcontractors suppliers for them to fulfil the quality of procured products Qualifications, Skills and Experience required Experience in the management of product assurance Experience of a complex, multifunctional, manufacturing or engineering environment would be an advantage A working knowledge of European Space Agency or UK MoD quality and product assurance expectations is desirable Experience of communication and influencing skills to build productive relationships at all levels of the business Apply At Thales we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
