RHEA is currently recruiting a Products Formats and Test Data Test Tools engineer to support Sentinel3 Operations at our clients premises in Darmstadt, Germany. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Support the Sentinel3 Operations with respect to EUMETSATs Marine Payload Data Ground Segment PDGS Anomaly correction and software release process maintenance. Necessary evolutions, including the necessary coordination with the data processing systems engineering and the multimission element engineers for the related interfaces with the rest of the Sentinel3 ground segment. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory 5 years experience in testing and maintaining product formats and formatters, test data and tests tools for large scale software systems missioninstrument data processing related. Experience in engineering evolutions of such software, test data and tools is also required. Knowledge and experience is required of software development lifecycles, system testing for Earth observation systems and use of test data and tools for supporting this, Knowledge and experience is required of formats and associated formatters used in Earth observation e.g. netCDF for marine applications and also used in other communities including HDF, BUFR and GRIB. Good knowledge of CICIJava programming language experience in a UNIXLinux based environment Good knowledge of Scripting languages e.g. Python, Perl, TcliTk, shell Good knowledge of XML and related technologies e.g. XPATH, SVG How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
