The European GNSS Agency GSA is responsible for the operations and service provision for the European Global Navigation Satellite Systems GNSS EGNOS and Galileo. By developing a new generation of GNSS, Europe is laying the foundation for new hightechnology industry development, leading to job creation and economic growth. These European flagship space programmes, which embody what can be achieved when Europe works together, are already bringing real benefits to people and business in Europe and around the world. The Project Control Departments main responsibilities are related to project control of the Galileo and EGNOS programmes, together with corporate planning and programming as part of the Executive Director and Quality activities. Its main responsibilities are Programme control activities Regular reporting on EGNOS and Galileo programmes implementation Development of key planning and programming documents Quality Management and ISO 9001 certification, along with the development of an Integrated Management System Galileo Product Quality Assurance and Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety Configuration and Documentation Management activities Management of the Administrative Board and associated programming documents of the Agency The department is now looking for a Project Control Officer who is expected to Develop and maintain the project control processes and tools required to properly manage the GNSS programme and internal GSA schedule, costs, risks, configuration changes, actions and documentation Ensure the development and submission of period programme reporting and organisation of associated GNSS and GSA programme reviews and meetings Develop and implement appropriate project control metrics as contractual provisions applicable to externalised activities, including participation in tender evaluations Manage the GNSS programme assets in close cooperation with the European Commission Prepare communication and reporting to the European Commission and Member States on the GNSS programme and GSA plans and status Liaise with the GSA administrative departments to ensure the efficient preparation and administration of the GSA Administrative Board Implement the project control processes Support the Head of Project Control Department for additional tasks as required For a full job description and further information on the application procedure please visit our career website httpwww.gsa.europa.eugsajobsopportunities
