We are looking to further enhance our team by Project Controller Support to Ground Segment Projects You will be based initially for 2 years at our clients headquarters in Darmstadt, Germany. Extensions for further years may be possible. In this large European Agency you will find an excellent and modern working environment with challenging tasks and responsibilities. Your Tasks Include The project control service to be provided falls under the responsibility of the Head of the Programme Project Control Unit, responsible for professional standards and generic programme project control matters but, for daytoday project control matters, it shall be provided to the respective ground segment and investment project managers. He she shall support the project management in the implementation of their industrial and our Client internal activities, in accordance with the approved budget and in agreement with the established administration processes and the Client contractual and financial Regulations, and in the preparation of plans and reports concerning the project aspects i.e. schedule, cost, finance, configuration, documentation, progress control as well as risk related aspects, with the aim to provide full visibility on all activities related to resources. Preparation of Work Breakdown Structures, the related Work Packages and the detailedsummary schedules for the respective Ground Segment and Operations activities Preparationandmaintenanceoftheprojectcosttocompletionsensuringconsistencywith the Breakdown Structures, Planning and ProjectInternal budgets Implementation of planning and control procedures to provide full visibility on all technical activities Identification of problem areas and proposal of remedial actions and replanning as required Preparation of Client Management Information Reports MIR e.g. manpower, cost, schedule and technical progress of the work Support in the preparation of the Mission Implementation Plan MIP Support to the risk management process Maintenance of the information contained in the ESOC Project Team InternetIntranet Sites Participation in the establishment and maintenance of DHSO standardised project control procedures and computerised information systems Support to the HSO Budget Processes Support to the Infrastructure Investment Processes Establishing and maintaining the Ground Segment Documentation Management System DMSECLIPSE Assisting in the maintenance of compliance with the HSO Quality Management System QMS Support to project controllers in HSOBC as required in areas of planning, reporting, budget preparation Other Adhoc tasks relating to Project Control Projects currently under Development Lisa Pathfinder, GAIA, BepiColombo, SWARM, AEOLUS, GMES, Euclid, Earthcare, ExoMars, Solo Operational Missions Mars Express, Venus Express, Rosetta, Herschel, Planck, Cryosat 2, GOCE, Cluster, Integral, XMM. Your Profile Applicants should have a university degree MSc or an equivalent qualification in a relevant engineeringcommercial or administrative field together with substantial experience at least 4 years in the project control disciplines related to the tasks under consideration, preferably gained in the aerospace industry Experience with computer systems and planning coordination tools is essential. A good knowledge of a management information system ERP such as SAP would be an asset. Candidates are expected to demonstrate excellent planning and organisational skills, attention to contractual detail, good sense for figures and be able to work effectively in a team environment. They must possess good judgment, integrity and communication skills. Interest in a combination of administrative and technical tasks Fluency in English spoken and written is mandatory a working level knowledge speaking and writing of French or German is desirable
