Luxinnovation is the National Agency for Innovation and Research. Through its range of services to enterprises, entrepreneurs and researchers, the Agency is one of the growth driversof the Luxembourg economy in key sectors such as Life Sciences, EcoTechnologies, Information and communication technologies, Materials and production technologies, Automotive components and Space technologies. The space sector has emerged with the creation of the SES in 1985 and currently gathers more than twenty companies and four research organizations for a total headcount of over 700 people. Mostly positioned on satellitebased telecommunications, it diversified since the Luxembourgs accession to the European Space Agency ESA in 2005.Today, the sector covers a wide range of skills both related to space and ground infrastructure or services. In support to the head of space sector and cluster manager, Luxinnovation is recruiting a Project Manager Space Sector mf, full time, ref. Space Missions You will promote the development of the space sector in Luxembourg and achieve actions jointly agreed between the Ministry of the Economy responsible for Space Affairs and Luxinnovation Represent and defend the interests of Luxembourg and stakeholders of the sector in the ESA and the European Commission Inform the actors on the directions taken in the area in Europe and on the different possibilities for financing their projects at national and European level Help the actors achieving their strategic objectives and thus support their development Identify the gaps in the value chains of interest for Luxembourg and attract new players in the field Develop cooperation and partnerships in Europe and internationally Promote the sector nationally and internationally Requirements You hold an Engineering andor PhD degree with at least 5 years of experience in the space industry and a good overall knowledge of space activities. You have to expect several trips in Europe and worldwide, sometimes on short notice and must therefore be flexible. Furthermore, you show following skills and competences Ability to understand different topics in the details and have the ability to synthesize Strong organizational, interpersonal and writing skills Fluency in English and French is mandatory German and Luxembourgish are a plus Interested?
