Investing in you to support the development of the European space industry. This is HE Space. We are currently looking for a Propulsion Test Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Key Tasks and Responsibilities You will have the following responsibilities Preparation of procedures and plans, planning and execution of liquid, gas and electrical functional tests of the propulsion system of a satellite Setup and dismantling of the test setup as well as preparation and maintenance of the required GSE Independent conduction of these tests on the propulsion subsystem Performing of mechanical integration work. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Completed studies in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, physics or related areas Several years of professional experience in the field of AIT, especially testing of space propulsion systems Practical experience in dealing with the usual FGSE and MGSE for propulsion systems Familiarity with the physical laws in hydraulic and pneumatic systems in both stationary and dynamic applications Communicative, teamoriented, careful, flexible Knowledge of handling hazardous liquids, gases and high pressures Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new areas of responsibility Effective and independent way of working Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
