ACS is looking for a consultancy support to EUMETSATs Process Assurance and Management Support Division PRS, in the context of QA activities which are overseen by that division. ACS has more than 30 years experience in delivering solutions for Earth Observation satellites Ground Segments. Based in Rome, Italy and in Darmstadt, Germany, we delivered systems currently in operation in 20 countries worldwide and have a long record of successful projects carried out for ESA, EUMETSAT, EMSA and many other Space Agencies and Research Centres. ACS recently established German subsidiary ACSD aims at better serving our customers based in Darmstadt area. The Quality Assurance Engineering support role will consist of the following main tasks Assisting in the definition and implementation of TSS processes i.e. engineering, management and supporting processes PerformingSupporting assessments of TSS processes and recommending improvements Monitoring selected processes, such as anomaly management processes, and providing statistics on them Supporting TSS risk management processes and associated reviews Providing support in the implementation and improvement of the TSS Quality Assurance Plan and quality processes in TSS Providing training in Quality matters to members of TSS. MANDATORY Knowledge, Experience and Skills University degree or equivalent, education in Quality Assurance, and a minimum of 5 years experience in one or more positions utilizing the mandatory skills Good knowledge of the ISO 9000 series Experience of working in an environment where an ISO 9001 certified management system is established and maintained Knowledge of the management, engineering and quality assurance activities performed for a project, as typically defined in a formal project management methodology. Experience of documenting work activities in the form of process definitions, procedures and working practices, plus good userviewpoint writing skills Experience of Quality Assurance auditing process assessment Skilled in proficiently using Microsoft Office tools suite. Good verbal and writing communication skills, to be able to effectively interact with any EUMETSAT personnel in the context of the assigned responsibilities. The Key Person must be able to work effectively in English language and have knowledge of French Complementary Knowledge, Experience and Skills Knowledge of Quality Management Knowledge of ISO 31000 Risk Management Principles and Guidelines Possession of an auditing qualification Knowledge of IT service management service related processes Experience of working in an operational systems environment Experience in IT andor softwareintensive engineering projects Knowledge of the ECSS standards.
