We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Engineerto support our customer in Germany. Quality Assurance Engineer Key tasks and responsibilities Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space transportation and satellites. As part of the project quality team of the Ariane 5 upper composite production, you will perform QA surveillance and quality management of the AIT Assembly, Integration and Test activities and be responsible for the QA surveillance of subcontracted equipment. Your responsibilities will include Daily tracking, surveillance and closeout of NCRs and anomalies Monitoring of the manufacturing, integration and test activities with audits, Mandatory Inspection Points MIPs and Key Inspection Points KIPs Preparation of the A5 upper composite acceptance data package Controlling the AIT quality activities Review and approval of project documentation Preparation and maintenance of the quality documentation and process for ordering parts and materials QA surveillance of supplied parts, materials and equipment. Key skills and experience University degree in a relevant engineering discipline Proven background in quality assurance management Experience working in space or aerospace projects Experience in assembly, integration and test Willingness to travel Excellent analytical and communication skills Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another German desired.
