This vacancy note concerns an onsite consulting position at EUMETSAT in Darmstadt, Germany. Quality Assurance Engineer 1513039 Job Description We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to support our client EUMETSAT in the following main tasks Assisting in the definition and implementation of processes i.e. engineering, management and supporting processes PerformingSupporting assessments of processes and recommending improvements Monitoring selected processes, such as anomaly management processes, and providing statistics on them Supporting risk management processes and associated reviews Providing support in the implementation and improvement of the Quality Assurance Plan and quality processes in the department Providing training in Quality matters to members of the department. Required Skills and Experience As a minimum, you shall have a university degree or equivalent, an education in Quality Assurance, and a minimum of 5 years experience in one or more positions utilising the following skills Good knowledge of the ISO 9000 series Experience of working in an environment where an ISO 9001 certified management system is established and maintained Knowledge of the management, engineering and quality assurance activities performed for a project, as typically defined in a formal project management methodology. Experience of documenting work activities in the form of process definitions, procedures and working practices, plus good userviewpoint writing skills Experience of Quality Assurance auditing process assessment Skilled in proficiently using Microsoft Office tools suite. Desirable Skills and Experience Knowledge of Quality Management Knowledge of ISO 31000 Risk Management Principles and Guidelines Possession of an auditing qualification Knowledge of IT service management service related processes Experience of working in an operational systems environment Experience in IT andor softwareintensive engineering projects Knowledge of the ECSS standards Work Location Darmstadt, Germany Dates Application Deadline 26 June 2015 Start of Work 01.10.2015 Important Notes Before applying to this position, please read the page Notes to Applicants on the Solenix website under Career.
