Ajilon Technology Aerospace is looking for a RF Payloads Mw Mmw Technology Engineer E3 for an opportunity at the European Space Agency in the Netherlands Ajilon Technology Aerospace is a specialized Engineering consultancy with more than 30 years experience providing aerospace Engineers to our key partners in The Netherlands. Ajilon is a longstanding business partner of the European Space Agency ESA, with more than 100 employees recruited from across Europe currently supporting ESAs activities. General tasks to be performed The candidate will be assigned to the Payload Engineering Section TECETP in the RF Payload Systems Division at ESTEC and will provide functional support to the Galileo Space Segment Infrastructure Team NAVNSI of the GALILEO Project Office The duties of the postholder include Participation to the Platform Commissioning Phases of the Galileo FOC Satellites Participation to the In Orbit Testing Phases of the Galileo FOC Satellites and coordination of Payload Specialist Support Support to the resolution of Inflight Payload anomalies of all Galileo Satellites in Orbit including participation to, and preparation for, relevant NRBs and ARBs Assistance in the resolution of anomalies between the systemground segmentoperations interface to Payload Units of Galileo satellites in Orbit including participation to, and preparation for, relevant NRBs and ARBs Support to In Orbit Maintenance activities including preparation and implementation of changes Monitoring and identification of trends of critical Galileo Satellite parameters Participation to Satellite Acceptance Reviews, Flight Readiness Reviews, Launch Readiness Reviews Operations Reviews etc. Dissemination of information as relevant to other colleagues Regular Reporting to the Galileo Space Segment InfrastructureManager The selected candidate will work in close cooperation with other colleagues of the GALILEO Space Segment team, and, when necessary, with other specialists of the Galileo System, Ground Segment and Operations teams, and with Industry. Heshe will be under the overall supervision of the GALILEO Space Segment Infrastructure Manager. To successfully perform the above mentioned tasks, the following background experience is required The candidate shall have the following qualifications Master Degree in Electrical engineering and preferable a background in the Radio Navigation domain Technical expertise in support of the Galileo the In Orbit Infrastructure Navigation Payloads including Payload System Engineering and In Orbit Operations. This covers activities linked to the final acceptance of Satellites for launch as well as In Orbit Infrastructure support activities with a close link to Operations Substantial experience in phase ABCD projects Good background in Design, Simulation, Manufacturing and Testing of Payloads and Payload Equipment with emphasis on Payload System and Interfaces Engineering A broad background and interest in multiple domains such as RF and Digital Signal Processing is an asset Candidates must be eligible for security clearance by their national security administration.
