Your Tasks Design an simulation of Payload Data Transmission Subsystems and preparation of specifications Providing specialist support to EMC engineering for RFC and PIM analysis Providing independent technical assessments to both project level and customer system level and subsystem reviews Planning, initiating and supervising procurement contracts with supplier for the design, assembly integration and testing of RF transmission equipment Providing specialist support to satellite project for subsystem and component level construction, integration and testing Planning, coordination and control of subsystem verification activities performed by assembly, integration and testdepartments within our client Your Qualifications A university degree in RFMicrowave or telecommunications Engineering Several years of professional experience in RF domain as communications equipment development engineer is highly appreciated Experience in RF communication simulation tools e.g. CST, VSS, MATLAB Knowledge of satellite technology, preferably high rate data transmitter, antennas and data and physical link layer protocols Professional experience of requirements management in DOORS is a plus High motivation and proactive involvement Excellent conceptual and problem solving skills Well developed communication and negotiation skills Fluency in spoken and written German and English
