What started as a stoush between Palmerston North neighbours ended with a real estate agent smashing his golf club while using it to break someone's wrist. Allan Toner, an agent for LJ Hooker, was sentenced in the Palmerston North District Court yesterday to five months' home detention after assaulting his former neighbour with a golf club on a Hokowhitu street.
