Recycled Polyester Prices in China (Monthly Report)

Recycled polyester prices have more significantly dropped than virgin polyester prices in the past weeks in China, over a weakness in demand, and whatever the fall in production. The limited price advantage of recycled fibers is no more supporting demand, whereas the demand for sustainable products in the United States and in Europe has not reached the Chinese market yet. Our report covers the recycled polyester PSF and POY prices in China over the past three years. Re-PSF and Re-POY prices are compared with similar virgin fiber prices for PSF and POY prices. Weekly prices, as well as indices over 3-month and 4-year periods, are available for download.
