SUMMARY OF 500 PM AST...2100 UTC...INFORMATION ---------------------------------------------- LOCATION...18.8N 49.9W ABOUT 790 MI...1270 KM ENE OF THE LESSER ANTILLES MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS...30 MPH...45 KM/H PRESENT MOVEMENT...WNW OR 295 DEGREES AT 5 MPH...7 KM/H MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE...1007 MB...29.74 INCHES WATCHES AND WARNINGS -------------------- There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect. DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 500 PM AST (2100 UTC), the remnants of Tropical Depression Nine were located near latitude 18.8 North, longitude 49.9 West. The remnants are moving toward the west-northwest near 5 mph (7 km/h) and this motion is expected to continue for the next day or two. Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts. The remnants are expected to gradually weaken during the next day or two. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches).
