RHEA Group is currently recruiting a Remote Sensing and Optical Instruments Engineer to support ESA SSA Space Weather Program at our clients premises in Darmstadt, Germany. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Support for the acceptance testing of the ground based NEO telescope. Importance of familiarity and experience with space instrument procurements, preferably in ESA contract framework. Support instrument system engineering and performance modelling. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory MSc or equivalent academic degree in engineering or physics. Several years of working experience in space flight engineering. Minimum of 10 years of working experience in the design, procurement and performance predictionevaluation of spacebased remote sensing instrumentation including system level design experience. Practical experience with projects developing spacebased instrumentation and the related processes. Experience in instrument engineering, testing and validation for ground based optical telescopes. Experience in participating in international industry contracts with a clearly defined project management or lead engineering responsibility.
