Eliminating need for sophisticated protective enclosures, AC500-XC PLC operates from -30 to +70°C, with reliable system start-up in temperatures as low as -40°C. Circuit boards are conformally coated to protect against high humidity levels. PLC also provides extended immunity against salt mist and atmospheres with corrosive gases. In addition, controller tolerates accelerations up to 4 g from random vibrations up to 500 Hz, and offers protection against voltage surges, fast transients, and ESD.
