JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities Duties Tasks GMV is looking for a highly motivated ENGINEER for the development of Space Surveillance and Tracking SST systems for the European Space Agency, the European Union and commercial operators Space debris objects orbiting the Earth has become a very serious thread to operational satellites in space. Major space agencies and commercial operators have started the development of onground systems to detect and track space debris objects. The successful candidate will be integrated in GMVs SST multidisciplinary team across several countries, with several projects currently ongoing. The work to be performed will consist on engineering activities for the qualification of Polish optical sensors, as well as, the validation of software in the field of SST. Experience in Space Astronomy and activities with the European Space Agency will be an asset Required knowledge Space Astronomy Programming Advanced English Space Debris Desirable Knowledge JavaC Orbital mechanics Experience one year WHAT DO WE OFFER?
