Moreover, we actively manage your professional development, training and career progression. We are looking for a Satellite Operations Engineer to work at OHB, Bremen. Tasks The following tasks apply to a number of satellites in flight For a number of satellites in flight OHB point of contact to customers nominal operations team. Support to customer simulations. Operations execution support LEOP commissioning IOT, in flight routine. Maintenance of satellite user manuals and procedures. Interface management to suppliers, subcontractors, customers and within the OHB project team. In flight anomaly investigations support, if necessary. Satellite configuration test campaign management. Maintenance of support tools. Telemetry analysis where required. Support to OHB wide Systems Engineering. Leading position to organize development and support. Essential requirements Degree in engineering, physics or equivalent. Ideally knowledge of Galileo at systems or operation level. Several years of experience with satellite operations or similar. Excellent communication skills together with flexibility, responsibility. Ability to work independent and in a team. Fluent in spoken and written English, German and French would be an asset. Experience and knowledge of SCOS, ECSS, working with engineering models. Other Information Start date is January 2018. Candidates must be an EU citizen.
