The business unit Space of CAM Systems GmbH is reinforcing our team in the Munich area. We are looking for you as Satellite Operations and Procurement Engineer mf Are you looking for a new and interesting activity in one of Europes most outstanding projects in the area of data relay satellites? This could be your field of responsibility Engineering support to mission operations Support to the operations engineering team on technical aspects related to the procurement of operations products. Review of operations products delivered by spacecraft suppliers, e.g. User Manuals, Satellite Reference Database, Procedures for Flight Operations, Satellite Simulator, Ground Software Acceptance of delivered products on basis of compliance to its technical requirements and its qualification status Supervision of ground software implementation and verification performed by payload control centre team based on inputs from spacecraft supplier Support to operational readiness review Support to LEOP and IOT activities Support to user commissioning and final acceptance Technical assessment of nonconformances, discrepancies and waivers Coordination with EDRS system engineering and procurement Support of the EDRS quality management process Support of the EDRS program management Your profile requires A scientific or technical degree or equivalent qualification with knowledge of the aerospace environment Profound knowledge of space system operations Experience with communication payloads Experience with modern software tools and techniques including databases, XML, Python, Java or other scripting languages Experience with Unix and Windows based operating systems Ability to steer subcontractors Ability to document the own work according to the standards of ESA programs Ability to operate in a multinational team organisation Work style characterised by autonomy, proactive behaviour and cooperation Good communication and interpersonal skills Experience with ESA and ESA standards Language skills English fluent, Permission to work in the European Union.
