INSYEN AG is based at the German Space Operations Center in Oberpfaffenhofen near Munich, Germany. We currently have more than 60 employees from 14 nations located in Germany and France. Our portfolio includes engineering, operations and product development for the space and aerospace markets. We are currently looking for a Satellite Simulation Engineer Start date SeptemberOctober 2016 Location Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany Required skills A degree in software engineering or equivalent professional experience Experience with or knowledge in satellite simulation systems, specifically Simulation Modelling Portability Standards Ability to understand complex IT environments Experience with Agile, Scrumlike methodology Experience with Python scripting or similar Experience with Java, CC Good team working and communication skills Fluency in written and spoken English German would be an asset Optional skills Experience with the SCOS2000 monitoring and control system Knowledge of EGSCC based Monitoring and Control Systems Experience with the GSTVi ground systems test and validation infrastructure Experience with Matlab andor Simulink Experience with ProENGINEER, AutoCAD or similar Key tasks and responsibilities Create simulation and visualisation of satellite andor ground system Expand simulation modelssystems with hardware in the loop simulation Integration of simulation models in a Virtual Reality VR environment Create interface for the integration of different simulators and simulation models Porting of simulation models into different simulators.
