Science confidence grows, but STEM gains needed: poll

Most elementary school teachers feel better qualified to teach science today than they did 20 years ago, and most parents think their children are getting a higher quality of science instruction than they did in 1995. But both groups believe schools need to do much more to equip children in the highly competitive STEM fields of science, technology, engineering and math.
