Astroscale is looking for an experienced Mechanical AITAIV Engineer to come in and work on the next phase of our innovative debris removal missions. Following the highly successful launch of our pioneering ELSAd spacecraft we are looking forward to developing our technology and capabilities further. This role will be instrumental in the success of our AIV activities, with full responsibility for the Mechanical AIT side of things in the UK. Working alongside our existing Senior AIV Engineer you will work on every aspect of the process so be prepared to wear multiple hats... Responsibilities include Writing procedures Design of the spacecraft alongside the Mechanical CAD team Helping design our new clean room Building test beds Environmental Testing and everything else in between..... This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for their next step in their career. The company is full of people at the top of the field in their area of specialism. There is potential for progression and as the company grows this role will become a leadership one, in charge of a team. This person must have A minimum of 5 years experience in Mechanical AIT more likely to be towards the 10 years mark...
