At OHBSystem we offer a unique and exciting opportunity to support the production and operation of the current generation Galileo spacecraft, and apply this experience immediately to the development of the next generation. To expand our Galileo payload engineering team, we are looking for a Senior Payload Systems Engineer mf. You work closely with spacecraft systems, structural, thermal, and Assembly Integration and Test engineering to ensure satisfactory navigation payload performance throughout all project phases. Your Tasks Monitor industry developments and planned invitations to tender ITTs, support the maintenance and planning of the technology roadmap related to GNSS. Coordinate and contribute to the internal training, knowledge, and tools database. Support and lead the design and development of the next generation payload architecture including architecture tradeoffs, performance model development, and verification planning. Lead requirements flowdown and specification writing for subsystems and units Amplifiers, Antennas, Filters, Signal Generator, etc. Review and assess supplier proposals. Model and assess the RF Power, Signal performance, clock frequency stability, and other payload performance parameters. Support test campaigns by analyzing measured payload performance and assessingtroubleshooting anomaliesnonconformances. Analyze any nonconformances for impact and gain approval from customer. Review and assess supplier documentation and participate in review meetings design, qualification, testreadiness, posttest, acceptance, etc. as customer. Assess onorbit performance and anomaly reports. Travel regularly to suppliercustomer sites supporting testing and technical meetings as above. Your Qualifications Degree in ElectricalElectronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Signal Processing, or comparable discipline. Graduate level preferred. Intermediate to senior professional experience in the space industry. Selfmanaged and proactive working style. Working level proficiency in written and spoken English. German or other EU language skills advantageous. Aurora is an established supplier of skilled manpower to ESA and in particular at ESTEC and ESAC. Aurora has the opportunity to expand our support within ESAC. Overview We are looking for Technical IT Support,to lend onsite support at ESAESAC, located in Madrid, Spain. For the tasks and activities the specific service tasks include UNIX LINUX and SOLARIS, Macintosh and PC System Management Installation, configuration, integration, and setting up of new machines with appropriate operating systems and layered software. Administration and operation management of computer systems. Installation and configuration of new hardware and new users accounts. User support mainly scientists and engineers. Handle the mail aliases and mail distribution lists. Definition, implementation and maintenance of computer operators procedures. Issues of documentation and technical reports. Specific qualification requirements A University degreeMaster in Computer Science. At least 4 years of relevant working experience in the activities mentioned above.. Ideally the candidate shall have a broad experience, working in diverse companies with IT automation projects. A good level of written and spoken Englishand Spanish isdesirable. Legal and Security Requirements All applicants must be legally allowed to work in Spain without the need to obtain a work visa. Only European Union EU, European Economic Area EEA and SWISScitizens can be employed by Aurora in Spain. Applicants are required to provide a copy of their passport and degree certificate. Aurora will validate the Degree with the issuing University and provide evidence to ESA. In line with ESAs security requirements, prior to issuing a letter of employment the applicant shall provide to Aurora a recent official document declaring that they are of good conduct from the country where currently resident, and Aurora will validate your employment history. Location It is expected that the work will be performed at the ESAC, the European Space Astronomy Centre at Villafranca del Castillo, near Madrid Spain. Contract The selected candidate will receive good remuneration in line withESA Job Class. You will be registered for both social security and tax in Spain. The standard working hours are 40 per week. There are 12 public holidays and an additional 30 annual days holiday. In addition to public health services Aurora provides private medical insurance in Spain. Votre mission au CNES Vous tes charg dtudes techniques, de dfinition de spcification et de dveloppement et mise en uvre de senseurs pour vhicules spatiaux. Vous intervenez aussi bien en tant que spcialiste technique que responsable projet de dveloppement. Vous tes en relation avec les acteurs industriels du domaine ainsi que les organismes de recherche et les agences spatiales, notamment lagence Europenne. Vritable matre duvre, vous conduisez les dveloppements, avec le support des experts du CNES, vous proposez des amliorations sur les matriels au travers dactivits de RT. Vous testez les matriels sur les bancs dessais que vous tes amens dvelopper ou amliorer. Vous intervenez pendant toutes les phases dun projet, du dveloppement du produit jusqu son exploitation en vol. Dans ce dernier cas, vous tes support dexpertise durant les phases de lancement et mise poste puis dans le cas danomalies en vol. Ce poste vous permettra dacqurir les comptences pour devenir terme, un expert reconnu de niveau national sur les viseurs dtoiles notamment. Profil de candidat recherch Diplm dune Grande Ecole dingnieur, dbutant 3 annes dexprience dans le domaine lectronique automatique, vous avez des connaissances du systme de contrle dattitude dun satellite, le dveloppement ou la mise en uvre dquipements. Des bases solides en lectronique, des connaissances en optique, en programmation et une connaissance du domaine spatial serait des atouts dterminants. Vous tes curieux, dynamique, autonome. Vous tes capable de vous organiser et de travailler en simultan sur plusieurs dossiers avec des modes dinterventions varis. Vous tes rigoureux, synthtique avec un fort sens pratique et vous savez faire preuve de crativit. Vous aimez travailler en quipe et avez de bonnes capacits de communication. Enfin, vous maitrisez langlais.
