Tasks and Responsibilities The work will be performed at the Airbus facilities in Bremen, Germany Les Mureaux, France TASI facilities in Torino, Italy. The person will take responsibility for the MPCVESM technical risk assessment together with the work package managers. The position will include the following tasks and responsibilities Identification of risks and mitigation measures Foster risk management processes to identify and help for managing all risks and potential threats Maintenance of risk register Weekly risk status reporting directly to the MPCVESM Project Management Office Ensuring complaince with the NPR8000.4A Agency Risk Management Procedural Requirements Qualifications and Experience Applicants should have a University degree in a relevant discipline and several years of experience in Agency Programs. Furthermore, candidates are required to have following skills At least 5 years experience within the European Space sector with demonstratable experience in interfacing with the European Space Agency and leading Prime Contractors Expert understanding of ESA Risk Management Procedures in particular, the NPR8000.4A Agency Risk Management Procedural Requirements Ability to cope with pressure Fluent in English High level of flexibility Good organization skills, good communication skills This position will require extensive travel in Europe. Expected start date July 2014.
