Service Manager mf Ref SES0268 Region Europe Location Luxembourg Betzdorf Company SES Category Other Engineering Technical Position Context As Service Manager of SES ASTRA TechCom S.A., the incumbent is both supporting the attraction and responsible for the successful management and provisioning of service contracts. SheHe is responsible for identifying the required resources and manage the various internalexternal contractors and suppliers in an integrated approach towards the Customers. The mission consists in the successful management of various services that will support SES ASTRA TechCom S.A. to generate recurrent revenues based on multiyear service agreements in various domains like equipmentsystem hosting, satellite teleport services, satellite VSAT network services. Customers may be of commercial andor institutional nature. On a daytoday basis, shehe will mainly collaborate with the SES technical and commercial entities. Responsibilities Support the attraction of contracts by supporting the various request for proposal phases like proposal preparation, proposal handover and negotiation, contract setup Takeover or setup services that follow a project phase, thus requiring the close colaboration with the Project Manager in charge of the project phase Case dependent, also support andor manage the project phase Manage Customer relationships Either support or be responsible for Write, coordinate, negotiate and maintain service agreements KPIs with suppliers and subcontractors being either SESinternal or external entities Write, coordinate, negotiate and maintain service agreements with Customers being either SESinternal or external commercialinstitutional entities Provide when contractually agreed service reports presenting past activities and upcoming objectives Interface Customers and collect requirements for the setup, monitoring and updating of Service Level Agreements Use professional project management tools and other usual office tools as appropriated to report and document service andor project realizations Support or manage the setup of costpricing sheets in the frame of proposal setup and with respect to contract realizations Coordinate with other functions Project Control, Legal, Finance for the transparent and effective realization of the services Support the yearly preparation of SES ASTRA TechCom Operational Expenses budgets Provide inputs for internal weekly reports including inputs into timesheet reporting systems Followup and understand the evolution of products and systems market Promote the SES TechCom Products and Services in the Satellite Industry and Satellite Communication Markets Travel as required to visit Customers, Vendors, Partners and attend exhibitions, conferences, workgroup meetings as deemed necessary Set up and maintain efficient service management structures Transparent and coordinated organization of daily work Regular reporting to Line Management through weekly reports of activities with special emphasis on status of different services and potential issues Deliver products, services, systems to customers within budget, specification and on time Provide effective communication workflow of information Successful and businessexpanding customer relationships Experience Qualifications Have a university degree in RF, Electronics, TelecommunicationsEngineering, Information Technology or equivalent Have a working experience in engineering, implementation, monitoring of telecommunications systemsservices Have proven projectservice management experience Be able to integrate into andor lead crossfunctional and multinational teams Have good communication capabilities, analytical sense, selfstarting qualities, coordination and priority setting abilities Proactive approach towards existing and potential customers Continuous Improvement mindset Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Fluency in English and a maximum of other languages Experienced in the daily usage of office and communication software Lotus Notes, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Project Our Offer Competitive salary package, coupled with a diverse array of challenges and development benefits.
