CS est cot sur le march Euronext Paris.ScopeIn the frame of the Earth Watching Service and the International Charter for space and major disasters, ESA requires the support of a service officer. CS is therefore looking for engineers able to bring such support to the Engineering and Management Services of ESRIN Italy.TasksFor the Earth Watching Service, the support will cover the following areas General data services coordination collection of information in case of natural disasters Mission planning support for coverage generation of satellite imagery for change detection Descriptions of processed images assessment on the service efficiency in responding to the customer needs, in particular with respect to interfaces with external entities such as data users or other service providers data dissemination support including support to the webbased information servicesThe Service for the International Charter for space and major disasters includes the following areas Emergency onCall Officer activities on a regular interval Reception of emergency tasking generic or specific requests Management support of the Earth Watching activities Delivery of data products requested by the International Charter Monitoring activities of the Service and user satisfaction Suggestion of service improvements, and corrective or preventive actions as needed Comptences Comptences Techniques Mandatory skill experience in Earth Observation ground segment areaAdditional skills considered as an advantage Experience with emergency oncall environment Experience in image processing techniques Experience in configuration management Knowledge in EO ground segment network Knowledge in mission analysis Knowledge of ESA Earth Observation Multi Mission Ground SegmentComptences Managriales Comptences Comportementales High degree of autonomy Good communication, presentation and team working skills Ability to conduct activities in a disciplined mannerComptences linguistiques Solid working knowledge of English language.
