Shareholder sues to block Precision Castparts sale

Berkshire Hathaway's $37.2 billion deal to buy Portland's Precision Castparts Corp. faces a legal hurdle after a shareholder sued this week to block the purchase. A lawsuit filed Thursday, Aug. 13, in Multnomah County Circuit Court seeks class-action status for Precision Castparts' shareholders affected by the sale.
