Silk Prices in China (Quarterly Report)

2018-06-11 13:23:04| EmergingTextiles.com

Silk prices have begun suddenly tumbling in the last weeks in China over a rebound of domestic production. The continuous rise of cocoon and silk filament prices in 2016 and 2017 has eventually boosted offer, amid a rebound in sales of silk products to foreign markets. Our quarterly report provides monthly average prices over the last five years for silk and cocoon on the domestic market, with in-depth analysis of latest and long-term trends. Export data are also released for raw silk, silk yarns and silk apparel, including average export prices over the last 12 months. Most data are available for download.
