Silk Prices in China (Quarterly Report)
2019-05-24 19:26:14| EmergingTextiles.com
Silk prices are currently stabilizing in China, thanks to a recovery in seasonal demand, including from Indian importers. Prices have however dramatically fallen from their peak in January last year, partly due to a rise of production. China's output could however fall 35% this year after prices have tumbled. Our quarterly report provides daily prices in the past 12 months and monthly average prices over the last seven years for silk and dried cocoons on China's domestic market, with in-depth analysis of latest and long-term trends. China's raw silk and silk yarn export prices are also released over a 4-year period along with EU's silk import data, including average import prices over the last 5 years. All data are available for download.
