Description TASK 100 Support Science Operation Missions DSRE Provide support for Science Operation Mission Planning Simulators for Mars Express and Venus Express projects. Provide support to the development, configuration management and update of MAPSS Mission Planning Simulator tools. Requirements The candidate shall have a university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent. Extensive experience in software engineering, software development and configuration control methods, tools and standards e.g. ECSS. Handson experience in programming languages C , Java optinal User interface development Qt or alternatively other graphical toolkits like MFC, GTK, SWTSwing. Operating systems Windows and Linux It is an advantage if the candidate has knowledge or some of the following Mac OSX , Unix systems. 3D graphics OpenGL, OpenSceneGraph, Direct3D, Databases MySQL, Oracle, etc. Web development J2EE or .NET.
