Ambient Smart Grid® Nodes fully support DNP3 protocol, enabling local data aggregation and control at distributed locations on utility grid. Nodes can act as slave to Network Operations Center (NOC) master or as master to communicate with and control multiple IEDs slaves. Use of local computing power on each node enables local decision-making and action as well as communication of select data back to centralized NOC.
