This vacancy note concerns an onsite consulting position at EUMETSAT in Darmstadt, Germany. Social Media Content Service 1813008 Job Description We are looking for a Social Media Content professional for our client EUMETSAT. You will be working with the Strategy, Communications and International Relations SCIR Division and the Copernicus Programme and Service Management Office for all stages of the design and production of engaging multimedia content for distribution on EUMETSAT social media channels and web sites, and also for presentations. This shall include the developmentdesign of storyboards and graphics, design development and final production for multimediavideo content, including social media live streaming, as well as the coordinationgathering of quarterly performanceoperational data for the creation and updating of key graphics. The following task areas shall be performed 1 Video production Design and production of video and other multimedia content for distribution andorstreaming on EUMETSATCopernicus social media channels and websites, including storyboard development, filming, animation, editing and final production. 2 Operational performance key figures Coordinate the gathering of key operational performance data on a quarterly basis, in cooperation with the Copernicus Programme and Service Management Office and the productionupdating of key graphicscharts for the presentation of these figures in presentations and social media communications. As a guide, the time focus of activities will be 90 on video production and 10 on the coordination of operational performance figures. 3 In addition, the Copernicus Social Media Content Support may be required to provide special expertise and support. Required Skills and Experience Recognised qualification in video, animation, graphic design or visual communications Demonstrable experience in producing video content suitable for social media channels Fluency in verbal and written English Experience of the complete cycle of designing and developing video content across a wide range of media web, social media, presentations, preferably with technicalscientific content Knowledge and practical experience of the video production process and project management skills Interpersonal skills to handle a wide variety of internal and external customers Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint software on Apple OS and Windows. Desirable Skills and Experience Experience of working independently on video projects from start to finish within a team for larger projects on technically or scientifically challenging projects in an international organisation with streaming content on social media channels would be an advantage.
