This vacancy note concerns an onsite consulting position at EUMETSAT in Darmstadt, Germany. Social Media Content Service 1813008 Job Description We are looking for a Social Media Content professional for our client EUMETSAT. You will be working with the Strategy, Communications and International Relations SCIR Division and the Copernicus Programme and Service Management Office for all stages of the design and production of engaging multimedia content for distribution on EUMETSAT social media channels and web sites, and also for presentations. This shall include the developmentdesign of storyboards and graphics, design development and final production for multimediavideo content, including social media live streaming, as well as the coordinationgathering of quarterly performanceoperational data for the creation and updating of key graphics. The following task areas shall be performed 1 Video production Design and production of video and other multimedia content for distribution andorstreaming on EUMETSATCopernicus social media channels and websites, including storyboard development, filming, animation, editing and final production. 2 Operational performance key figures Coordinate the gathering of key operational performance data on a quarterly basis, in cooperation with the Copernicus Programme and Service Management Office and the productionupdating of key graphicscharts for the presentation of these figures in presentations and social media communications. As a guide, the time focus of activities will be 90 on video production and 10 on the coordination of operational performance figures. 3 In addition, the Copernicus Social Media Content Support may be required to provide special expertise and support. Required Skills and Experience Recognised qualification in video, animation, graphic design or visual communications Demonstrable experience in producing video content suitable for social media channels Fluency in verbal and written English Experience of the complete cycle of designing and developing video content across a wide range of media web, social media, presentations, preferably with technicalscientific content Knowledge and practical experience of the video production process and project management skills Interpersonal skills to handle a wide variety of internal and external customers Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint software on Apple OS and Windows. Desirable Skills and Experience Experience of working independently on video projects from start to finish within a team for larger projects on technically or scientifically challenging projects in an international organisation with streaming content on social media channels would be an advantage. A vacancy for a Navigation System Engineer mf has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Ottobrunn. The successful applicant will join Navigation Products. What can you expect? You will join the PRS Receivers Team and contribute to the ongoing development of the PRSOS SW Receiver and the EndToEnd Navigation Simulator. In that role you will be involved in various GNSS activities where you will define, implement, and test navigation algorithms and features. With more than 60 engineers and almost 20 years of experience, the Airbus Navigation Department is one of the leading expert groups in Europe for the development and implementation of the European satellite navigation systems EGNOS and Galileo. In your daily activities you will Support the development of Galileo PRS and OS software receivers, algorithms, and features Support the evolution of the Galileo system with respect to PRSOS navigation signals and performance Operate and support the development of the EndToEnd Navigation Simulator for navigation signals performance analysis Support the definition and development of new tools for navigation signals performance analysis Define, plan, and conduct testing activities in laboratory as well as measurements campaigns Interpret measured data and evaluate test results Support requirements derivation for the Galileo PRS and OS software receivers Create and maintain system engineering documents and technical reports Present the achieved results in front of national and international customers, industrial partners, technical meetings, symposia and conferences Contribute to new ideas and applications related to satellite navigation on PRS related aspects What are we looking for? We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and experiences You have a Masters degree in an Engineering discipline such as Navigation, Telecommunication, Signal Processing, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, Physics or equivalent You have shown good theoretical knowledge of satellitebased navigation systems, navigation signals, receiver architecture and performance You do understand GNSS receiver technology and signal processing techniques inside GNSS receivers, such as acquisition, tracking, data demodulation, channel decoding, PVT computation, interference detection and mitigation You are experienced with INS integration, sensors fusion, and integrityRAIM are considered an asset You have proven experience in SW development and good knowledge of C You are able to analyze complex technical problems and define innovative solutions You are fluent in English the knowledge of German language is considered an asset You have proven good communication skills and team working attitude as well as the capability to work in an international environment Please apply for this vacancy at our careers site www.jobs.airbusgroup.com with your CV attached.
