The Software Engineer takes part of software development projects in an international and multicultural environment for the space and other sector. It will be involved in design and development of cuttingedge project in the space domain. Main Tasks As part of the project team, baseline tasks of the Software Engineer are Writing software requirements specifications Analysing, designing and producing technical architecture Implementing software systems according to requirements and architecture design Testing and validating software systems Maintaining and supporting existing software systems Performing training for internal and customer needs Writing technical documents and reports at all stages of the software development process. Requirements At least 35 years of experience in software development Experience in Analysis, design and implementation of Databases SQL, DBRMS, Hibernate JPA Experience with Configuration Management tools and techniques. Experience with Software Release Process Unit Tests, SystemSubsystem Test, Metrics, Test Reports, Building, automatic installers production, Release Note Document Mandatory languages and scripting knowledge o Java o Javascript Node.js, AngularJS, JQuery, Bootstrap o HTML 5 Bootstrap is a plus o Ruby, PHP, Python are a plus o C, C, C o MatLab, Simulink, LabVIEW, LabVIEW RT, LabVIEW FPGA are a plus o RabbitMQ, jWebSocket and GeoServer knowledge is an asset Preferred knowledge o LinuxUnix, Perl, or Shell o Experience in Troubleshooting and Debugging o Experience in Software Engineering Best Practices design pattern o Cloud computing technologies o Machine learning basic knowledge o Big data basic knowledge o SOA knowledge is an asset o Cyber security knowledge Education and experience Master degree or equivalent experience in computertelecommunication engineering Solid experience in the technical fields related to the project and in the space field is mandatory English fluent French is an asset Any domain certification is an asset Analytical and critical thinking, good sense of organization of work Willingness to learn Reliability Effective oral and written communication skills Adaptability, openminded Consistently Seeking and Learning New Technology Passion for Developing Engaging Consumer Experiences Driving licence Position based in Transinne, Belgium Travels missions happen depending on the project needs
