We are looking for several software engineers with experience in software development, maintenance and support for the development and maintenance of Air Traffic Control related software systems. These are fulltime and unlimited positions located on our customer side at DFS in Langen, Germany. ResponsibilitiesDuties The Software Engineer will be contributing in a team to the development, maintenance, verification and validation of air traffic control systems developed and operated at the German Air Navigation Service Provider. QualificationsExperience A university degree in aerospace, informatics, mathematics or physics Strong experience in software development and maintenance, ability to provide support to customers Essential Skills ATMATC Systems Knowledge GNU C and Java programming languages Source Code Control System Subversion or Git Development on Linux systems Basic Linux system administration, shell scripts, make, gcc, debugging Good communication skills Fluency in spoken and written English German would be an advantage Desirable Skills IBM Rational DOORS GNU C MySQL, Oracle Python Qt Class Library ISOIEC 12207 Standard for Information Technology for software development Development based on the VModel User Documentation Fluency in spoken and written English German language skills would be an advantage Benefits Competitive salary plus a comprehensive benefits package including 30 days holiday, generous training possibilities, Telespazio VEGA Deutschland pension scheme is offered to the successful candidate.
