We are looking for several software engineers with experience in Web application development, for the development of Software Systems in the Air Traffic Management domain. These are fulltime and unlimited positions located on our customer site at DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung in Langen, Germany. ResponsibilitiesDuties Contribute in a team to the full software development life cycle, integration and maintenance of air traffic control systems and tools developed according to the applicable quality and technical standards and used at the German Air Navigation Service Provider Analyse User Requirements and develop concepts for SW solutions Write Software Requirements Design and Develop Software using the Java programming languange and javascript for Web applications Develop manual and automatic Unit Tests Support the execution of manual and automatic system and software tests Qualifications Experience A university degree in aerospace, informatics, mathematics or physics Strong experience in software development and maintenance in Java and Java Script on Linux for Web based applications. Essential Skills At least 5 years of experience in the design and development of Web applications Good knowledge of Java Script and Type Script, Good knowledge of HTML5, Canvas und Web Sockets, Good knowledge of Web Frameworks e.g. React or Vue.js, Good knowledge in using CSS and preprocessors like SASS or LESS Good knowledge of REST based WebAPIs Good knowledge in ITSecurity ideally OWASP Good knowledge in Java Fluency in spoken and written English Desirable Skills Good knowledge in testdriven development and test automation Experience with testing frameworks for Web applications and CICD pipelines Experience in agile methods Scrum, Kanban Experience with Gitlab Fluency in spoken and written German would be an advantage
