Summary An experienced C Software Engineer minimum 5 years commercial experience looking for an exciting career in the development of space related applications and services. Objective To join our experienced software team developing bespoke applications within the space domain. Opportunities exist to be involved in all of the key software lifecycle aspects requirements, design, development and test. Responsibilities Duties Software Systems Engineering o Requirements Analysis, Design, Implementation, Test and DeliverySupport o Good knowledge of software system architectures, tools and frameworks. o Production of high quality technical engineering documents e.g. Requirements, Design, Testing o Implementation of the software source code o Unit testing of the software Supporting the preparation of proposals to win new work including desirable o Understanding of user requirements o Specification of the solution, trading off alternatives o Estimating the effort required to implement the solution covering the full lifecycle of the project o Writing clear, concise, technical proposals to express the solution and its benefits to the client Software Development o Primarily development of a CQt application for the Linux operating system, with the visual aspects of the system implemented in HTMLCSSJavascript. o Detailed design of modules implementation unit testing and acceptance testing. Qualifications Experience Degree qualified relevant degree with Software Engineering modules, or equivalent experience. Ideally the candidate will have at least 5 years commercial experience of C development.
