The Fleet Operations Associate Spacecraft Operations Engineer is a team member of one of four operations crews and reports to the Fleet Management Mission Director and performs all activities and tasks necessary to control the fleet of OneWeb satellites. This is a shift work position. Control of the fleet is highly automated and therefore the controllerengineer is an expert in operation of the command and control applications software, the satellite subsystems, the mission management software, mission planning system, and interfaces to other elements of the system. The controllerengineer facilitates execution of the schedule, manages automation, but predominantly performs manual and contingency commanding as required. Controllers also participate in procedure development, test and validation, automation rule set development, test and deployment. Responsibilities Assess satellite state of health and performance and develop automation processes for these activities Generate mission plans, operational procedures, and other realtime products in coordination with engineering support Support realtime operations, efficiently managing multiple satellites at a time Aggressively pursue and resolve commanding and operational issues Producing Data Analytics Participate in interdisciplinary cross training, which allows for lateral and upward advancement opportunities Grow and develop operations processes to manage a 600 satellite constellation Trailblazing the way to provide access for all Required Skills and Experience Entry level and experienced positions available The ideal candidate will have experience in Realtime flight operations console expertise Satellite command and control operations software and products General satellite subsystem operation and maintenance LEO satellite operations including launch, inorbit test, orbital maneuvers, commissioning, and deorbit Mission planning and contact scheduling experience Demonstrated ability to be selfmotivated, take initiative and showcase leadership skills Excellent oral and written skills and communication briefing of technical information Thrives in a highly dynamic environment with aggressive deadlines Multisatellite LEO constellation operations experience is preferred.
