We are currently looking for a Spacecraft Operations Engineer for Sentinel 2 to support our customer in Germany. Spacecraft Operations Engineer Sentinel 2 Key Tasks and Responsibilities Supporting the Earth Observation Missions Division, you will have the following responsibilities Validation, test and operation of the MCS, including the OBSM and Mission Planning System Validation, test and operation of the Simulator Generation, validation and maintenance of the FOP primarily on Data Handling, but also for other subsystems Support to test and operate the NDIU Support for FOS procurement, integration and tests Review of satellite documents LEOP support responsible for Data Handling Commissioning support responsible for Data Handling. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University Degree in Engineering or a related subject Spacecraft subsystem knowledge, preferably for Data Handling Expertise in operational environments Experience with flight procedures life cycle Experience with organisation or execution of tests involving both ground and space segment Experience with anomaly investigations Ability to understand and accurately predict behaviour of complex systems Experience with OnBoard Software maintenance is advantageous Familiarity with satellite control systems, in particular SCOS2000, would be an advantage Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
