For our national and international space projects we are looking for a Subcontractor Manager strengthening our clients Subcontractor Management Department with the following background and qualifications. Your Tasks Enhance procurement management as the interface between the satellite programs and the subcontractors Manage and optimize strategic procurement for several space projects in the field of satellite payload Ground Support Equipment as well as Flight Equipment Prepare and implement international competitive tender processes including Requests for Quotation, proposal evaluation and subcontractor selection Ensure supplies of subsystems considering customer and process orientation requirements as well as cost and quality optimization Prepare makeorbuy decisions on the basis of detailed analysis of internal company potential Conduct price and contract negotiations Handle change processes during project implementation Manage the subcontract until delivery and acceptance of the deliverable hardware Your Qualifications Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Optics or OptoElectronics, Physics or similar technical areas Several years of work experience in development, manufacturing, qualification and testing of complex systems, preferably in the space sector Extensive experience in the procurement and management of complex subcontracts Experience in legal matters and contract negotiation processes Excellent communication and negotiation skills, i.e. in English Processoriented working discipline High motivation and team spirit Readiness for frequent travels inside Europe in the frame of our international subcontractors in various ESA member states
