Your Tasks Develop and implement the Clients procurement strategy of equipment and subsystems makeorbuy decisions, long term agreements, multiproject planning within your area of responsibility. Be a core member in our project teams project management and engineering responsible for all activities related to development and procurement of equipments and subsystems Lead negotiations with potential suppliers Follow the development of equipments and subsystems together with our projectteam engineers from supplier kickoff to delivery Visit our suppliers in Europe and worldwide regularly to monitor their progress. Your Qualifications Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering or applied sciences. Experience or high interest in procurement management in the space industry. High level of technical affinity to understand technical requirements. Selfconfidence with excellent communication and negotiation skills. Enhanced analytical and selforganizational skills. Fluency in spoken and written English.

Your Tasks Enhance procurement management as the interface between the satellite programs and the subcontractors Manage and optimize strategic procurement for several space projects in the field of satellite payload Ground Support Equipment as well as Flight Equipment Prepare and implement international competitive tender processes including Requests for Quotation, proposal evaluation and subcontractor selection Ensure supplies of subsystems considering customer and process orientation requirements as well as cost and quality optimization Prepare makeorbuy decisions on the basis of detailed analysis of internal company potential Conduct price and contract negotiations Handle change processes during project implementation Manage the subcontract until delivery and acceptance of the deliverable hardware Your Qualifications Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Optics or OptoElectronics, Physics or similar technical areas Several years of work experience in development, manufacturing, qualification and testing of complex systems, preferably in the space sector Extensive experience in the procurement and management of complex subcontracts Experience in legal matters and contract negotiation processes Excellent communication and negotiation skills, i.e. in English Processoriented working discipline High motivation and team spirit Readiness for frequent travels inside Europe in the frame of our international subcontractors in various ESA member states

SubContract Manager

Purpose Management of Key Suppliers and subcontractors to meet contractual and business objectives. Key Tasks Responsible for the Management of, and main point of contact for major external Key Suppliers and Subcontractors. Negotiation of contractual terms and conditions. Tracking and cost reporting, schedule and progress. Ensuring applicable documents and requirements are effectively implemented. Leading supplier visits. Identifying potential supply chain risks and recommendation of mitigation strategies. Working as part of a cross functional team, with other subject matter experts, including Design Engineering, EEE Parts Engineering, Parts Materials and Process and Project Management to facilitate the effective buying of Companies requirements. Evaluate future developments and supply chain needs. Selection and recommendation of key subcontractors to meet project requirements. Produce subcontractor statements of work. Ensure that all contractual obligations are met in line with customer and company objectives. Provide inputs for bids and proposals. Develop Com Dev Europe subcontract policies and procedures. Provide timely reporting to Project Management on progress and subcontract performance. Support project reviews with project Team, customers and subcontractors Compliance to the companys Quality Management System. QMS. Compliance to the companys Health and safety Policy. EducationQualifications A broad working knowledge of procurement, purchasing and subcontract management in a technical environment. Experience of working in a SpaceAerospace engineering environment would be of benefit. Good communicator with customer and supplier facing skills. Ability to work as an integral member of a team. Business related, Engineering or Technical Apprenticeship or Degree is desirable. Good interpersonal skills. Good computer user skills
