RHEA Group is currently recruiting a System Data Processing Engineer to support the EPSSG Programme at our clients premises in Darmstadt, Germany. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include System related analyses to ensure completeness and coherence of the concepts and design for end to end data processing with special focus on Establish and maintain the system design in the area of data dissemination including maintenance of an overall budget. Ensuring that the system design is compatible with all instrument calibration needsactivities. Ensure that the system design takes into account all necessary auxiliary data needed for product generation Follow up of Instrument Functional Chain Teams IFCT activities from a system engineering point of view. Support for the preparation and maintenance of system technical specifications Establishing and maintaining traceability between the system technical specifications and upper and lower level requirements. General support to other system engineering activities for example Support documentation of system design and justification Support ad hoc internal reviews Support system level formal reviews Support space segment level activities as required ground segment level activities as required Support IVV activities Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree in the domain of engineering, science, or equivalent. At least 5 years of experience in the field of engineering of space andor ground systems, in the area of LowEarth Orbiting satellites LEO including end to end data processing aspects. Ability to analyse systems from an endtoend perspective combined space and ground segment, understand relevant details while keeping the focus on the overall system aspects and to present the results in a comprehensible way. Capability to prepare system requirements and design documents, and to perform systemlevel analyses for complex polar satellite systems. The following skill would be highly desirable Experience with DOORs. Familiarity with EUMETSAT data dissemination concepts How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
