We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our expanding operations team near Stuttgart to deliver cutting edge solutions and services that our customers really need to succeed. ResponsibilitiesDuties Provide requirements analysis, integration and test planning of elements of the ground segment Evaluate and reviews software and hardware test procedures Perform testings and document test results accurately Keeping the testing infrastructure upto date in view of the test campaigns Document, followup and prepare improvementmitigation plans for observed anomalies Coordinate, facilitate and participate in Test Readiness Reviews Support Onsite activities such as integration, acceptance tests etc. at the end customers site in Munich, Fucino etc. QualificationsExperience Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Mathematics, or Science Some years of relevant technical experience in development, operations andor softwarebased systems development and testing preferably in Aerospace industry Essential Skills Knowledge in technical software development and related programming languages CC, Java, Python, scripting Linux, XML and MySQLOracle Knowledge and experience in network configuration and architecture, TCPIP protocols, firewalls and switch configuration Strong organizational skills Ability to independently execute work tasks in a rapidly changing, fastpaced environment Experience with firewalls, encryption and associated algorithms Desirable Skills Familiarity with software engineering processes ECSSEST40C, ECSSQST80C Experience using IBM Rational DOORS Proficiency in MS Office including MS Project Familiarity with the operations of Galileo Navigation Project Further Details Requirements The selected applicant will be subject to a government security clearance and must need eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Citizenship of a member State of the European Union or Norway required to meet this obligation.
