(Telecompaper) Telekom Slovenije has developed its own technology to offer customers internet, fixed telephony and TV over the LTE mobile network. The operator will offer the services from June to users in areas where the establishment of a permanent fixed connection is not possible, but LTE is available. The operator's 4G network covers over 80 percent of the population in Slovenia. Telekom said the platform for LTE fixed services, developed in-house, is among the first in the world. When ordering services, customers will receive a modem with Sim card, the IPTV Box S and a set of powerful external antennas. Subscribers will be able to receive data rates of up to 10 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload. More details about the commercial offer will be released in June.
