(Telecompaper) Telenor Norway said it has signed a national roaming agreement for Tele2's customers in the Norwegian market. It will come into force on 01 July and will apply to the brands Tele2, One Call, My Call and Network Norway. The contract is based on the standard agreement concerning national roaming. It covers 2G, 3G, and 4G coverage, and Tele2s customers will have the option to pay for access to higher data speeds. The agreement suggests Tele2 has decided to remain in the Norwegian market. The company earlier said it was considering its strategic options, after it failed to acquire additional spectrum in an auction last year.
