Test Engineer Deadline for applications ASAP Job Description For our client we are looking for a Test Engineer for their location in The Hague, the Netherlands. Tasks and Responsibilities Assist and support the AMDC2 Acquisition Verification and Validation Section AVVS Mission Assurance Branch MAB in all aspects of planning and execution of the integration and testing required during the acceptance and transition phases of the Air Command and Control ACCS Equipment Capability Draft, define and coordinate generic operational scenarios needed to perform Operational Demonstrations with Users and NATO AirC2 Staff Participate in the scenario definition activities at the STVF and on Sites in accordance with the contract terms Review the deliverables arising from the contract, to ensure that the contractor has correctly interpreted the relevant specifications relating to TE Ensure that resources personnel, interfaces, communications, flights, etc required for testing are identified, planned, and coordinated Ensure that test plans and procedures, and test results are produced and analysed to support verification and validation Monitor the TE related test activities of related national implementation contracts and advising host nations as required Evaluate test plans and schedules proposed by the contractors and providing recommendations andor comments Participate in contract milestone reviews, technical interchange meetings, contract deliverable reviews and other project meetings. Requirements Master of Science MSc degree at a nationally recognisedcertified University in a related discipline and 5 years postrelated experience Or a Bachelor of Science BSc degree at a nationally recognisedcertified University in a related discipline and 7 years post related experience Or exceptionally, the lack of a universitycollege degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidates relevant abilities or experience and 12 years extensive and progressive expertise in the duties related to the operational aspects of an AirC2 system Must have recent experience of NATO Air C2 System Must have good knowledge of AirC2 operational processes and procedures, specifically the test issue resolution process Recent experience in the management planning and execution of larger verification and validation activities for largescale distributed softwareintensive CIS to include functional, performance and interoperability Good knowledge of, and practical experience in, modern test engineering and test management methods and paradigms Experience in the operational or technical use of Air C2 systems Knowledge of NATO Tactical Data Links and other military or civilian interoperability standards for messaging and data exchange related to air traffic Experience as a Master or Duty Controller with good practical experience in both the realtime and nonreal time aspects of Air C2 Formal qualification in validation and verification engineering or testing is desirable NATO Secret Security Clearance is required.
