Main duties Provide technical competency in the environmental testing and monitoring of Space hardware using internal and external test facilities. Test in particular, electrical verification, including continuity, voltage, temperature, bonding, isolation, thermal vacuum, magnetic moment, mass, shock and vibration testing. Support in the maintenance of test equipment, internal to our client and associated equipment. All electrical testing is to be carried out to European Space Agency ESA standards and our clients internal quality standards. AD hoc duties as required. Essential Skills and Experience ONCHNC Apprentice trained or equivalent in electricalelectronic engineering or other electrical electronic test discipline. Ability to work well under pressure to demanding timescales. Quality conscious and capable of working within a highly regulated industry. Able to work with mechanical and or electrical engineering drawings. Able to work with test equipment e.g. Oscilloscope, DVM, battery changersdischargers and data loggers. A selfstarter and motivated, ability to multi task. Methodical worker with attention to detail and reliability is essential. Flexible attitude to work including overtime. Values delivering the job professionally, properly and with pride. Very good computer skills including MS office, specifically MS Excel and MS Word with the ability to adapt to other PC specific applications software, such as interfaces for controlling test equipment. Experience with automated systems an advantage but not essential. Personal Demonstrate pride in work. Helpful and able to work as part of a team. Flexible to changing priorities. Must be able to follow industry and company specific procedures. Some flexibility in working hours sometimes needed to suit the business requirements. Motivated and demonstrates good attention to detail.
