DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 300 AM MDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Mario was located near latitude 24.3 North, longitude 113.5 West. The depression is moving toward the north-northwest near 10 mph (17 km/h), and this general motion should continue through today, before dissipating near the west coast of the central Baja California peninsula on Tuesday. Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts. Mario should gradually weaken and is expected to become a remnant low this morning before dissipating on Tuesday.
