Floridas Miami-Dade County plans to build a new municipal processing facility, as does Saint Paul, Minnesota. Pasco County, Florida, is expanding its municipal waste-to-energy capacity. And in Frederick, Maryland Army base Fort Detrick proposes two new medical waste incinerators.
