Polyester prices have been eventually been lowered this week in India, whereas further dropping in Pakistan. Staple fiber and filament prices have more sharply fallen in China, with domestic polyester markets in India and Pakistan being therefore pressured by surging competition from Chinese imports. Spun yarn prices have given signs of weakness in the past days in India, as market activities were reduced by Diwali celebration.
